Privacy Policy

1. Overview

• We do not require user accounts.
• We do not use cloud storage.
• We do not collect personal data as part of normal operation.
• We do not send personal data to external servers.

All processing happens locally and only during active use. Wallas’ Stream does not perform background recording or continuous listening when the App is not actively running.

2. Who We Are

Wallas’ Stream is an independent application operated by Renata A. Ponce P.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

• Names, email addresses, or phone numbers
• Contacts
• Location data
• Audio recordings
• Voice or biometric data
• Advertising identifiers
• User tracking or identity-linked analytics

4. Wallas Audio (macOS Virtual Audio Device)

• Routes system audio in real time
• Does not record, store, or analyze audio
• Does not transmit data externally
• Runs only when explicitly selected by the user

5. Audio Handling

macOS App

• Audio is transmitted live and temporarily
• Audio is never stored
• The user manually selects the audio output device
• The App does not automatically change system audio outputs
• No audio persists after the session ends

Transmission can occur via:

• Local network (Wi-Fi)
• Direct wired connection (USB cable)

iPhone App

• Receives audio only
• Plays audio in real time
• Never records or stores audio

6. Permissions Used

macOS may request:

• Audio / Microphone access
  Required by macOS for real-time audio routing and playback. macOS may label this permission as “Microphone” even when no audio is recorded or stored.
• Local Network access
  Used to connect directly to your Mac on the same network.

iPhone (iOS) may request:

• Camera
  Used only to scan QR codes to establish a connection.
• Bluetooth
  Used only to connect to user-approved external audio or hearing devices.
• Local Network
  Used for direct audio transmission from your Mac.
• Notifications (Optional)
  Used only to alert you when the connection is disconnected due to prolonged silence or inactivity. You can use the App without enabling notifications.

7. Local Data Stored on iPhone

• First use date
• Listening time today
• Listening time this week
• Total listening time

This data never leaves your device, is not linked to your identity, and is not shared with Wallas' Stream or any third party.

8. Notifications

• Do not contain personal data
• Are not used for tracking, marketing, or advertising

9. Widgets, Live Activities, and Dynamic Island

• Display only local connection status and listening time
• Use data stored locally on the device
• Do not transmit any data to external servers
• Do not collect personal or identifying information

10. Third-Party Services

• Uses no advertising SDKs
• Uses no third-party analytics
• Uses no tracking frameworks

11. Children’s Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Because no personal data is collected, no child data is stored.

12. Data Security

Since no personal data is transmitted or stored externally, exposure risk is minimal. Connections are temporary, local, and initiated by the user.

Terms of Service

1. Description of the Service

Wallas’ Stream is a system designed to transmit audio in real time between devices for personal audio transmission and general accessibility support.

2. Not a Medical Device

Wallas’ Stream is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to consent to digital services.

4. Free and Premium Features

Some features may be free, while others may require payment. Features may change over time.

5. Payments and Refunds

Payments are handled exclusively by the App Store platform. Wallas' Stream does not collect or process payment information.

Refund requests are handled directly by Apple under their App Store policies.

6. Acceptable Use

• No illegal use
• No reverse engineering
• No bypassing feature limitations

7. Compatibility Disclaimer

Compatibility with all devices, networks, or hearing hardware is not guaranteed. Performance may vary.

8. Intellectual Property

All rights are reserved by Renata A. Ponce P.. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable license.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. Use is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

to the maximum extent permitted by law, Wallas' Stream is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of audio or access.

11. Changes and Termination

Wallas' Stream may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without liability. You may stop using it by uninstalling.
